We took a Taroko Express from Taipei Main Station to Hualien Train Station, We departed at 930am and reached Hualien at 1140am

Packed lunch on the train $80

- we were, then, briefed on places of interest and food in Hualien. She is very nice and approachable.


Hualien Town
Hualien is a small town which is situated at the East coast of Taiwan\. It consists of many shoplots and night markets. If you want to get rid of city hectic life, Hualien is your right choice as the pace in Hualien is slow.You hardly find shopping malls but old shops along the roadside.I like the most about Taiwan so far is its friendly people, pensions and local food.
