Pop-wave Karaoke Lounge is located at Petanak, same row with other cafes (near Mdm Tang's Laksa). They started their business beginning of the year. It is a good news to hear that Kuching has such karaoke lounge and the karaoke system is not bad at all (Do not compare with Green Box or Red Box).

I did not know the place until I came back a few weeks ago.My friend complimented the place and asked me to go along with her but initially i was a bit reluctant.But NOW,thanks to her,I started to love singing.I think I am addicted!(Although I dont have a nice voice,ahem).The beats of the songs have vaccinated into my blood!streaming into my whole body!I don't care how bad my voice is,I move and sing with the music!

Kuching Entertainers' Gathering was held on 24th November 2007 at Happy Valley, Kuching. Such event was held for the first time in Kuching.The event was organized by talented bands in Kuching - Startlight and Slap. The event was spiced up by 27 performances (4 sets).The purpose of organizing the event is to gather entertainers in Kuching, to provide an opportunity to all the entertainers to further unleash their potential as well as to entertain the crowd. The most important thing is to prove that we have many capable performers in Kuching.They are singers, belly dancer, composers, violinists, drummers and guitarists.

Kuching Entertainers' Gathering was really an entertaining event. It was a successful one as this event has attracted hundreds of audience. Therefore, we are looking forward to seeing the event again next year and we wish to see the event continue to flourish in Kuching as well as other parts of Malaysia!

As kuching kia or anak kuching, I am really proud of what we have done to make Kuching a well-known city!Let's put our hands together to make our dreams come true!

Teaching Job

Teaching needs patience, passion and professionalism.

I never thought of how poor a student can be until I personally teach them.

Therefore, teachers must adapt to the students' levels and to simplify what is difficult for them especially poor students. This needs patience.

Teaching comprises passion as well. This is essentially true. Without passion or interest, a teching job can be a torturing job for you. We cannot run from students, schools and parents. You will only enjoy what you are doing if you love your job.

Professionalism. Teachers set good examples to students. They are role-models. They are our fascilitators...How can we not be professional?

I was just in time to come back to attend my primary school classmate's wedding dinner two days ago at Crown Square, Kuching. I couldn't believe when my dad messaged me, saying that I have received a wedding invitation card (when I was still in KL). I was completely shocked! My dad even typed out his name, "Mr. Tan Kian Ping" and my dad said, "He claims that he is your friend" At first, I did not know who Tan Kian Ping is. After knowing his chinese name, I was surprised that he is my primary school classmate!(He still remembers me,that's so touched)It was the first time that I received a wedding invitation card from a friend!Gosh!I realise that I am not "young" anymore...scary!:) However, I was amazed and astonished to see my long-lost primary school friends!

Exam.Exam.Exam.

I'm taking up five subjects this semester including my Final Project. However, I only sit for three papers - Public Relations, Pragmatics and Discourse and Health Management (Ya, I am very health conscious,haha). Another subject that I don't have to sit for the exam is Literature for Malaysian Schools. Well, that sounds easy but mind you, we have big projects for that. It is not easy at all.

Three papers will be on the 4th, 6th and 14th November. So, wish me Good Luck!
